MTANT Intermediate and Senior Secondary Mathematics Quizzes
Below are links to copies of our secondary Mathematical Quizzes. These are an optional Quiz to test keen students of mathematics. There is a small monetary prize for the top student at each year level. The Senior Quiz is also used as the main criterion for selecting the top Northern Territory Year 11 student to attend the National Mathematics Summer School (NMSS) in Canberra during January 2009. Please treat the papers as confidential until the students have attempted them or until 17 August 2008.
Award for Mathematical Excellence
It's never too early to start thinking about nominations for the 2008 MTANT Award for Mathematical Excellence. This is the gold logie of maths education achievement in the NT! Both students and teachers are eligible for nomination so don't be shy if you know someone who deserves it.

Mathematical Talent Quest
This competition focuses on mathematical investigations and is open to students from Pre-school to Year 12. Individual, small groups or whole classes can submit an entry. Get your students started on their entry today!

Outdoor Maths Challenge
All the information you need to run an Outdoor Maths Challenge. Includes general information as well as some pre-written Maths trails in various locations both Top End and Central. Try one with your class for Literacy and Numeracy week!
